Massage Services

With 20 years of experience in the healing arts, I bring to each massage all of my knowledge and skills. I simply charge for my time, not the service. So, if you are needing a relaxation massage but also need therapeutic massage on a shoulder, let's say, I will do that. I adjust as needed, and the session you receive is specific to you.

Massage Therapy
Traditional massage therapy, including relaxation, deep tissue, sports massage, therapeutic, trigger point, prenatal and oncology massage. This category is everything you can think of when we say the word "massage."

Craniosacral Therapy
I am trained in craniosacral therapy through the Upledger Institute. I offer this stand alone, 60 minute session for a relaxing and a full body rest.
What to expect: using a soft touch generally no greater than 5 grams, or about the weight of a nickel, practitioners release restrictions in the craniosacral system, which has been shown to improve the functioning of the central nervous system, as well as many other systems of the body, such as digestive, musculoskeletal, respiratory, circulatory, and more.
CST has also been shown to help with the physical components related to such somatic conditions as Post Traumatic Stress, depression and anxiety.
By facilitating the body's natural and innate healing processes, CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and has been shown to be beneficial for people seeking help with a wide range of healthcare challenges and symptoms.
TMJ/TMD Myofascial Release
This stand-alone session is 60 minutes in length and addresses neck, face, jaw, mouth, throat and any upper body constrictions. I have helped many clients who grind or clench their jaw. Or clients who have injured their jaw and have their bite 'off' alignment. And those who may have been in an accident causing whiplash or trauma to the head and neck. If we are working on a specific issue we may require more than one session.
Key benefits of this work:
-
Pain Relief: Relieves soreness and knots in the muscles of the jaw (masseter, temporalis), neck, and shoulders.
-
Improved Mobility: Loosens restricted fascia, which helps you open and close your mouth easier and extends your pain-free range of motion.
-
Tension & Spasm Reduction: Alleviates secondary symptoms like tension headaches, "lockjaw," and ear pressure.
-
Improved Posture: Addresses neck and upper back tightness that can cause or worsen jaw clenching and misalignment.
-
Nervous System Regulation: Eases the stress and anxiety that often trigger subconscious awake and sleep bruxism (teeth grinding)
My toolbox
I wanted to highlight my experience with Mouse as a TMJ specialist.
I had a major jaw issue (moderate to severe daily pain, trouble fully opening my jaw) for two and a half years. I tried acupuncture, physical therapy, dentist, reiki, everything I could think of and it never resolved. ONE DEDICATED session with Mouse and it is COMPLETELY HEALED (and has stayed healed for three months!). His physical manipulation, coupled with his deep, spiritual and energetic work was the magic combo. He says: expect miracles on my table and I cannot help but agree!! Deeply grateful.
