About the event
Reiki Level 1 is where your journey begins. This level is for anyone who feels called to care for their own energy—whether you’re completely new to Reiki or have only experienced it as a client. You’ll learn how to give Reiki to yourself using the basic hand positions, and how to notice the subtle ways your body and mind respond when you receive Reiki regularly.
The core concepts you will learn include:
The Attunement Process: Guided initiations that open and align your energy system to the Reiki frequency, permanently connecting you to the energy.
Reiki History and Lineage: Learning about Dr. Mikao Usui, the founder of Reiki, and the origins of the practice.
The Five Reiki Principles (Gokai): Meditative ethical guidelines to live by (e.g., Just for today, do not be angry; Just for today, do not worry).
